Brazos Writers meets monthly on the second Wednesday of each month at 7:00 pm at the
Brazos Center, 3232 Briarcrest in Bryan, Texas.
The board of directors usually meets at 6:00 pm prior to the general meeting.
Brazos Writers is a not-for-profit organization for writers in the Brazos Valley. We support, educate and encourage anyone who is interested in the written word.
February Monthly Meeting
February's monthly meeting on Wednesday, Feb 8, will be held at the Brazos Center at 7:00pm. The meeting topic is "eBooks and Other Creatures of the 'Net," presented by an eBook expert.
March Monthly Meeting
February's monthly meeting on Wednesday, Mar 14, will feature open readings with a theme of "The Ideas of March." You don't need to read on the theme, but it's an excellent motivator to stretch your writing muscles.

Brazos Writers welcomes and encourages visitors. Membership has its benefits, though, so consider paying the meager annual dues and joining up.

Upcoming Workshops
A Crash Course in Flash Fiction. The first Brazos Writers workshop of the year, "A Crash Course in Flash Fiction," is set for Sunday, February 26, 2:00-5:00 p.m. It will be held at Barnes & Noble Bookstore in College Station. Nancy Stebbins, staff editor at SmokeLong Quarterly, will help us discover the fascinating world of flash fiction and how it can benefit writers in all genres.
